BEAUFORT RESEARCH LOOKS TO THE FUTURE

Beaufort Research, the leading market and social research agency in Wales, has announced some major changes for 2007.

Peter Stolle, Managing Director of Beaufort since the company was established in 1984, is stepping down from a full-time role and there will be a new management structure in place. Fiona McAllister is taking over as MD, supported by Chris Timmins, Director, and two Associate Directors – Claire Peate and Owen Knight. Peter will remain as non-executive Chairman of the company.

Fiona McAllister said “We wish Peter all the very best in his retirement and would like to thank him for his outstanding contribution to the company’s success over the past 20 years. Without his leadership, Beaufort would not be in the strong position it is today, with a reputation for high quality research and repeat business levels of over 75% each year from our core customers in the public and private sectors. We’re confident our new management team will keep us at the forefront of research in Wales”.

Another change for 2007 is the introduction of CAPI (Computer Aided Personal Interviewing) technology to Beaufort’s interviewing team across Wales. Beaufort is the first research agency in Wales to invest in the new technology, which complements the company’s existing CATI (telephone) and CAWI (web) interviewing capabilities.

Chris Timmins said “CAPI is an exciting development for us and our clients. It opens up new possibilities for multimedia research and for tracking advertising and communications.”
