Beaufort has built up considerable expertise in meeting the specific challenges of conducting interviews, focus groups and depths interviews among the business community. As well as conducting a variety of ad hoc projects for both the public and private sector, Beaufort has developed its own Business omnibus survey, which runs bi-annually.  The types of service that are regularly undertaken by Beaufort are:

  • Skills studies – examining skills levels, skill gaps and demand for training among various workforces.
  • Service satisfaction – examining satisfaction with business support services.
  • Initiative and policy evaluation – assessment of the impact and the processes involved in various government business interventions.
  • Strategy facilitation – facilitation of workshops and group discussion in order to inform strategic development of key business sectors.
  • Business survival rates – longitudinal research examining business survival rates and requirements for new businesses in terms of support and training.
  • Stakeholder surveys – providing feedback to public and private sector organisations on how they are perceived by their key stakeholders.
