Beaufort is recruiting two research executives to strengthen the team

Wales’ leading social and market research consultancy is looking for two new members of staff: a Quantitative Junior Research Executive / Research Executive and a Qualitative Research Executive / Senior Research Executive.

Junior Research Executive / Research Executive - Quantitative

An enthusiastic quant researcher is required to join the team in Cardiff, working on a wide range of research projects across Wales and the rest of UK.

This is a highly varied position that will give you experience and responsibility for an exciting range of quantitative projects for high profile private and public sector clients. With the support of senior members of staff, you will be involved in all aspects of the research process from questionnaire design and sampling through to reporting and presenting results to clients, and all stages in between!

The post would suit someone with a good degree and an interest in developing a career in market research.  No experience is necessary but candidates with 1 to 2 years’ quantitative research experience are welcome to apply. Excellent communication and analytical skills are required as well as strong attention to detail.  Fluency in Welsh is not required but would be welcome.

The position is offered on a twelve month contract.


Research Executive / Senior Research Executive – Qualitative

A fluent Welsh speaking executive is needed to work on a variety of qualitative projects across Wales and the UK.

This is a highly varied position that will give you experience and responsibility for an exciting range of qualitative projects for high profile private and public sector clients. You may also be required to work on some quantitative projects. Your ongoing training and development will be a key feature of the role as you become involved in all stages of the research process and client management and develop your skills in focus group moderation and depth interviewing.

The role would suit someone with between 1 - 4 years research experience. Candidates with more experience may be considered. Enthusiasm for building a career in research is essential.

You must be a fluent Welsh speaker, with excellent written and spoken Welsh, as well as excellent English language communication skills, and hold a good degree.

This is a permanent position.
